Rope Making
Rope and cordage are one of our most ancient and universal human technologies, yet few people have any idea how it is made.
In this class you will learn to turn commonly available twine into a piece of traditional three strand rope. We will also cover how to change the layup of the twine to make rope in the diameter and length of your choosing. We will also discuss what kinds of materials you can use to make rope, and how to acquire or make your own rope making tools.
